What You Can Do Right Now to Make Sure
We Win in November
We need people. Lots of em. When November 8th comes, we need people to vote. Every day between now and then is about finding those people who agree with us, who agree that Seattle needs clean rapid transit, and letting them know they’re not alone.
How do we find them? It’s easier than you think. Pick and choose what works for you.
Find Local Businesses That Will Give Out Buttons

Is there a coffee shop or bakery in your neighborhood that would be happy to give away buttons? Tell them about the 2045 Seattle and see if they are interested. We’ve made an easy to print flyer that you can leave with businesses in your area that tells them about 2045 Seattle and how they can help.

Tell Your Friends
If you haven’t told your friends yet, get to it already. If these people like you enough to hang out with you, then they’ll certainly like you enough to help build our monorail.
Buy Some Buttons and Give Them Away
You can order buttons directly from the button company just like anyone else. $35 will buy you 50 buttons shipped straight to your door which you can then donate to a local business or hand them out yourself. You can also get 100 buttons for $50. Just head over to Busy Beaver Button Company, pick the 2.25″ buttons and when it asks for artwork just say it’s a reorder for “2045 Seattle Monorail”.
Artistic Endeavors

We already have cool stickers from one artist, but if you’re an artist and you’re inspired by all this, design something to inspire us further. Painting, sculpting, posters, moving digital bits around until they look just right, you name it. Create something that reminds us of our shared future.
Speaking, Protesting and Other Civic Duties
Are you any good at public speaking? How about walking around Westlake Center with a “I want my monorail!” sign? Let us know what you’re up for and we’ll put you on a special list for just such an occasion.
Any Other Ideas?
All the ideas on this site come from a whole lot of people who simply give a damn. If you’ve got a great idea on how we can get the word out, drop us an emailsend it to us.
Welcome to 2045 Seattle, where giving a damn is the new black.
