2045 Meeting Tonight at the Elysian Brewery on Capitol Hill

Come have a beer and nosh with your fellow 2045ers as identified by their stylish green buttons at the Elysian on Capitol Hill. It’s on the corner of Pike and 13th Ave. Let’s meet at 7pm around the bar and then we’ll see if we want to grab a table.

We’ll share our frustrations, talk possible next steps and debate which we like more: Gridlock Greg or Mayor Gridlock. Sorry about the short notice, but enough people have expressed a desire to get together that it makes sense. Even if it’s a small group of us, it’ll be good to have a drink.

Update:
The monorail board has put a shorter line on the November ballot. It’s been a dramatic day to say the least.

I’ll be out of town. I do want to make a meeting soon. Everyone ready for campaign?

Ouch! More notice for the next one, k? Like a week or more.

Check the DFA Linkups, and let’s plan what Seattle will look like in 2045.

It’s fair to say we’re just rolling with the punches the mayor and ciy council are serving us, but hopefully the next one will have a sooner warning behind it. Stay tuned.

I am sick and tired of the way this city just completely ignores the voters wishes. Why do we have to keep voting? We have already said we want it built. What do we spend on repairing and servicing our roads? Our streets are getting more and more crowded with automobiles. It will only get worse. Perhaps we should have a protest. I don’t know but I think we need to do something now.

your friendly neighborhood happyfunboy is not a seattle-ite, just a grateful recent visitor, struck by the friendliness and general asskicking-ness of seattle.

keep fighting the good fight, folks!

btw: still wondering how christian found the funcave… ;)
